This fine black tea is especially unique, as it is created with leaves from the green tea cultivar, Baiye #1 a leaf typically used to produce the famous Anji Bai Cha. Harvested by hand in early April in a majestic monsoon subtropical mountain climate, this tea bares beautiful, delicate leaves saturated in amino acids and other life giving nutrients. Let us not forget to mention the rich clay soil and ancient stones this tea grows amongst.
